The icon "Kyiv Praise of the Most Holy Theotokos" is made on an MDF base, measuring 12x14 cm. This image depicts the Most Holy Theotokos sitting on a throne with raised hands, holding the Savior Emmanuel in his arms, who blesses the world. Around the Theotokos are depicted angels, cherubim and Archangel Michael with a fiery sword and staff. The lower part of the icon depicts prominent Kyiv saints, such as Princes Boris and Gleb, Volodymyr and Olga, the holy metropolitans of Kyiv, Saints Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves, who hold the Lavra and other shrines. The icon is made in the traditional Orthodox style with high attention to detail, which makes it a wonderful addition to a prayer corner, temple or a blessed gift for loved ones.
